Patients of the Akal Drug De-Addiction Center came together to celebrate
the joyous occasion of Baisakhi with unwavering devotion and boundless
enthusiasm. The festivities commenced with a heartfelt recitation of
Sukhmani Sahib paath, invoking a sense of peace and spiritual harmony
among everyone present. The spirit of seva (selfless service) filled the
air as the patients actively participated in serving langar, ensuring
that the celebration extended its warmth to all. To further highlight
the significance of Baisakhi, some of the patients delivered inspiring
speeches, shedding light on the historical and cultural importance of
this auspicious festival. The event served as a testament to the
patients’ journey towards recovery, fostering a sense of unity,
positivity, and renewed hope within the center’s compassionate
community.
