It
was a privilege for me to attend and represent Kalgidhar Trust at an
uplifting event organized by Grey Shades Foundation, an NGO dedicated to
the welfare of the elderly. The event, aptly named ‘Kirat Kamayee Award
2023,’ honoured 31 individuals aged 80 and above for their profound
contributions to society. I had the distinct honour of presenting the
award to Baba Sardool Singh, a 114-year-old freedom fighter, educator,
and social worker.
